Wireframes

I received an email from the team over at Dog on a Horse looking for a website redesign and a branding facelift. Shortly after our conversation and collaboration, I started mapping out the layout that would best emanate their work and service.

The Theme

From exploring an array of colors, fonts, graphics and layouts, producing the right visuals and not just pixels takes time and patience. Over the course of several weeks, ideas were brought to life and their story was starting to form.

The Identity

Because Dog on a Horse’s name doesn’t exactly say developers, clarifying who they were from the beginning was key. I went with a transparent, bold header and added a piece of their story through original imagery, which birthed the name “Dog on a Horse.”

Navigation

Having the right placement for each piece is crucial for the user to have a positive experience. Since their business is a service, it was important to add recognizable icons for visual clarity.

Show The Apps

One of the best ways for a customer to see what you do is through up-to-date screenshots of the apps. The service was something that needed to be showcased with clean-cut mockups that would exemplify their work.

The Final Design

Connecting and maintaining the theme and flow throughout the site will ensure a successful and responsive return. From the landing page to the case studies to their blog, each piece flowed to the next allowing the viewer to see each component in an effortless manner.
